Atlanta All-Star Backcourt Demolition...Murray trades to New Orleans

Atlanta Hawks' former All-Star backcourt duo disbanded.

"Atlanta has agreed to a trade to send guard DeJonte Murray to the New Orleans Pelicans." Instead of sending Murray, they will receive forwards Larry Nance Jr., E.J. Liddell, guard Dyson Daniels, and a first-round pick in 2025 and a first-round pick in 2027 subordinate to the Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans.

Atlanta acquired Murray in a trade with San Antonio in 2022. A former All-Star, attention was focused on working with ace Trey Young. Murray averaged 22.5 points and 6.4 assists, and Young 25.7 points and 10.8 assists during the 2023-2024 season. However, Atlanta finished 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 36-46 record. It also lost to the Chicago Bulls in the play-in tournament.

Above all, Atlanta secured the first pick in the 2024 rookie draft in May, predicting some separation.

Atlanta named French forward Zakari Lizache as the first pick.  바카라사이트

There is a high possibility that the Atlanta Braves will rebuild itself around Lizachet. Notably, news of Young's trade is being reported as well. Currently, Young is expressing discontent with his club by deleting all posts related to Atlanta on his SNS. Young and Murray earn more than 70 million U.S. dollars per year next season.
